Page Destroyer
Privacy policy
Effective 14 October 2026
Page Destroyer is a Chrome extension by Panshul Bharadwaj. It collects nothing, stores nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
What is collected
Nothing. Page Destroyer does not collect, record or transmit any personal information, browsing history, page content, keystrokes, mouse movements or usage statistics.
What is stored
Nothing. The extension does not use cookies, local storage, sync storage or any other storage. The damage you draw on a page exists only on your screen and disappears when you click Repair, press Esc, or reload or leave the page.
Network activity
None. Page Destroyer makes no network requests. There are no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no remote code. Sound effects are generated inside your browser with the Web Audio API, so even the audio is created locally.
Permissions and why they are needed
- activeTab lets the extension run on the tab you are looking at, and only after you click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+D. It gives no access to other tabs or to any page you have not chosen to destroy.
- scripting is used to add the destroyer overlay (destroyer.js, which ships inside the extension) to that tab when you activate it.
- Background service worker listens for the toolbar click or keyboard shortcut and starts the overlay. It does nothing else.
The extension requests no host permissions and cannot read or change pages on its own.
Sharing
Because no data is collected, none is sold, shared or transferred to anyone, and none is used for advertising, creditworthiness or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s single function.
Children
The extension collects no information from anyone, including children.
